Signy Aileen Stephenson died peacefully on December 9, 2017.

She is survived by her loving husband Michel Gabereau, her children Georges and Aileen, her stepchildren Morgan (Stephanie) and Eve (Craig), her grandchildren Lucas, Elodie, and Blaise, her sister-in-law Ok Jung and her children James and Signy, and her nephews Stephen, Henry, Andrew, and their wives Natasha, Monique, and Erin.

The family wishes to recognize and thank her devoted friends JoAnn, Ruby, and Brian, and her cousin Helen.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that donations in her name be made to Brome-Missisquoi Perkins Hospital in Cowansville, Quebec.

Cher Michel, Nous sommes de tout coeur avec toi. Signy a été la première personne que nous avons rencontrée à notre arrivée et c'est en partie grâce à elle que nous nous nous sommes établis à Knowlton. Nous pensons à toi et à tes enfants petits et grands. C'est trop triste, courage.

Our hearts go out to you, Michel and family. She was a great lady, a kind friend, who along with Michel helped me through a very trying time in my life ? truly great friends to have. The world was a better place with her in it and a great loss to all now. I will raise a glass to her Sunday and think of all those great times at Rose Avenue/Jolie Vent. A sad day indeed.

Ton départ Signy nous laisse dans une grande tristesse et nous avons beaucoup de mal à l'admettre - Tu étais ma soeur d'adoption, et nous avons passé beaucoup de moments ces dernières années qui font ce lien si fort.
