I was saddened to learn of Barbie's passing. The Forster's house was my home away from home, when I was growing up and Barbie and Alfie always made me feel welcome. The Forsters were not only neighbours, but friends as well. Although a great many years have passed, I still have wonderful memories of that time. It was the place where Robert and I played Cowboys and Indians, won the Second World War all by ourselves and planned our practical jokes. I still remember the days when Robert and I would come home from school and sit out on the porch talking, while the ethereal sounds of Simon and Garfunkel kept us company in the background. I remember as well, Robert telling me when he was no more than four years old, "I have a sister now, her name is Linda, but we're going to call her Lindy." I still do. To Robert, Lindy, Barry and Jeff, sincere condolences from both Dorothy and myself. The world has lost a good person, but she has left us with memories that will last forever. Jimmy
