L`inhumation aura lieu au cimetière Protestant de Phillipsburg, le 8 octobre 2020, à 11h. The burial will take place at the Protestant Cemetery in Philipsburg, October 8th, 2020 at 11am.


Paisiblement à la Résidence Dutch Lusignan, le matin du 23 septembre 2020, à l'âge de 96 ans, est décédé Monsieur Willi Kubatz, résident de Bedford, époux de feu Dorrit Kubatz.

Passed away peacefully on the morning of September 23, 2020 at the age of 96, at Residence Dutch Lusignan in Bedford, Québec, resident of Bedford, husband of late Dorrit Kubatz.

Il laisse dans le deuil, la famille de son beau-fils à Ottawa, sa nièce en Allemagne ainsi que plusieurs autres amis du German Club, à la Villa des Rivières à Bedford et à la Résidence Dutch.

He leaves behind his stepson`s family in Ottawa, his niece in Germany and many old friends from the German Club, from Les Villas des Rivières in Bedford and from the Residence where he passed away.

Willi est né en Allemagne et a immigré au Canada en 1953 avec son épouse Dorrit Kubatz et son beau-fils Cajo Brando. Il résidait au Lac Champlain à Germantown, Philipsburg où ils se sont construit une maison. Il était un cycliste passionné autant en Allemagne qu`au Canada.

Willi was born in Germany and came to Canada with his wife Dorrit Kubatz and stepson Cajo Brando in 1953. Eventually settling in a house he built with his family on Lake Champlain in Germantown, Philipsburg.  He was an avid cyclist, both in Germany and in Canada.

Un grand homme qui nous manquera à tous. 

A true gentleman who will be greatly missed.
