Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. The funeral service will take place at 2 p.m.
Marjorie passed away peacefully at the Brome-Missisquoi-Perkins Hospital, in Cowansville, on January 19, 2019, at the age of 82, beloved wife of 60 years to Gerald Thomas, resident of Cowansville.
Marjorie was a retired school teacher from Heroes’ Memorial Elementary School. She was a devoted wife, an amazing mother, a loving Nana, and the best sister any brother could have. Family and friends were most important in her life. She cherished them dearly.
Marjorie was an extraordinary mother and best friend to her daughters Daphne (Jamie) and Paula (David). She will also be lovingly remembered by her 3 grandchildren Liam, Jessica and Matthew, by her 2 brothers Wayne (Louise) and Winston (Eileen), her sister-in-law Margaret and many other relatives, loved ones and dear friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at Manoir Lac Brome and the BMP hospital (2nd floor) for the excellent care provided to Marjorie.

We were so sorry to hear about Marjorie and I had very much hoped to be able to make it out to the Townships and pass on our condolences in person to each of you; Gerry, Paula, Daphne, Wayne and Lou, Winston and Eileen. I have such fond memories of her and the girls as well as the times when the families got together at the farm in Iron Hill - our childhood was made that much richer by those moments. Dear Gerry and family, Am so sad to hear that Margorie has passed. However, if she was suffering, it's good that God has taken her into his kingdom. She was such a nice lady and I am sure she will be missed by all who knew her. Please know, that if it were not winter and bad roads, I would be with you.
