Claire Smith (née Duquette)

Peacefully, at her home at Arbour Trails, Guelph, ON., on Thursday, March 14, 2024, in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her husband Buck, her husband Tim, her son Ron. She is survived by her daughter Shirley, her son-in-law Jacques, her stepdaughter Dawn, her grandchildren Tristan (Marie-Ève), Laurence, and Georgina (Tom), her great-granddaughter Océane, her brother Clément (Lucie) and her sister Céline (Réal), her sister-in-law Rachel and many nieces and nephews, and friends. 

There will be no memorial service at this time. Claire donated her body to the Human Anatomy Program at the University of Guelph. Her cremated remains will be interred in Stanbridge Ridge Cemetery in Stanbridge East, QC., at a later date. Memorial contributions to Diabète Québec, Muscular Dystrophy Canada, or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
