Mary White, nee Domina,

1922 - 2020

A celebration of her life will take place in the summer of 2020.

Passed away on February 8, 2020, in her 99th year, at the Brome Missisquoi Perkins Hospital in Cowansville, Quebec. She was the daughter of Hector Domina and Rose Couture. Mary was predeceased by her much-loved husband of 63 years, Robert White, by her son-in-law, August Hagedorn, and also by her nine brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Linda White (Steven Caunter), by her two grand-daughters, Lisa Hagedorn (Peter Smedley) and Julie Hagedorn (Goetz Kihr) and by her two step-grand-children, Elizabeth Caunter-Cheok (Eddy Cheok) and Daniel Caunter (Sarita Kassan). She also very much loved her great-grand-children: Evan, Naomi, Anna, Bobby, Lily and Freya, as well as all her neices and nephews and her brother-in-law, Dale White and sister-in-law, Winnie. Her family mourns the loss of their generous, funny, multi-talented matriarch. Donations in her memory may be made to the BMP Foundation, 950 rue Principale, Cowansville, QC J2K 1K3

Sincere sympathy in the loss of Mrs. White. When I was much younger I loved going to the A&P in Cowansville and she was always there with a smile on her face....she will be missed.

So very saddened to hear about Mary. I so enjoyed talking to her when I worked at Knowlton House. She has a great sense of humour! My sister was in the hospital last year in the same room as Mary. One evening she had a young male orderly help her to the bathroom. She looked at us and said, "I may never com out!" We howled with laughter. My deepest sympathy to her family. She was a treasure! <3

My sympathy to the White family. Linda you may not remember me form school days at Heros. Your parent use to come our farm to buy our maple syrup every spring after Jim Symington passed on.
